Shipping Costs And Dispatch, Delivery and Returns

1. Shipping to the UK and the Rest of the World

1.1 All Postage to UK mainland is FREE when you spend £50 or more. and will be sent via 1st Royal Mail Recorded Delivery on most orders. so the item will require a signature.
A charge of £3.95 is applied to all orders under £50.

1.2 Delivery for the rest of the world is calculated by weight and will be display when you proceed to checkout.

1.3 We aim to post everything within 24 hours of cleared payment but sometime there maybe delays.  Please take into account postage office closures over the weekend and Royal Mail delivery times.

1.4 In the rare event that your parcel goes missing please allow upto 28 days for the item to either be returned to us or delivered. After a claim is made with the post office for the lost item a refund or exchange will be give.

2. Returns and Refunds

2.1 We hope that any product that is purchased through ScaryCanary Clothing will meet all of your expectations. However, if a customer is dissatisfied with their purchase, we offer a complete, no-quibble returns money back guarantee. If any customer is dissatisfied with the goods that they have purchased from ScaryCanary Clothing, we offer a 100% refund (excluding delivery charge), subject to the conditions outlined below.
There will be a restock fee charged for returning items that were bought by mistake (Wrong size, Unwanted gift, etc) this is the cost we incurred to post the item and payments fees.

3. Conditions for all refunds and/or exchanges requested:

3.1 The goods must be sent back in their original condition, unworn, with all tags, identifications intact and the packaging must not be damaged.

3.2 Both the goods and packaging have to be in a re-saleable condition to qualify for a refund.

3.3 Unless faulty, products will not be accepted for exchange or refund where they have been worn or washed.

3.4 Unless faulty, products will not be accepted for exchange or refund if t hey are marked or stained by strong perfumes, aftershaves and deodorants, or bodily secretions.

3.5 Returns must be received by ScaryCanary Clothing within 21 days of receipt as recorded by the Royal Mail, or other carrier.

3.6 Unless there is fault with the goods, they must be returned at the customer's own expense. Returns from countries outside the EU must have a customs label clearly stating that the goods are returns. Should we be charged UK tax and duty on returned goods we will deduct this amount from any refund exchange due to the customer.

3.7 We do not accept returns for fault where damage has been caused by wearing a garment when it is too small.

3.8 This Guarantee does not apply where the packaging has been damaged or the goods worn, when for hygiene reasons we are unable to accept a returned garment (please refer to the guarantee above), unless there is a fault with the goods , in which case we will offer a 100% refund including any delivery charge.

3.9 All returns should be notified and agreed with us before posting . Please contact us by email giving your invoice reference and your reason for returning the goods. We will then contact you with a returns reference number. Goods must be returned within 21 days from receiving your order when they will be assessed and refunds made subject to their condition.

4 If an item is undelivered or not collected by the customer than a refund will be granted minus the postage costs. This will be issued when either the item is returned to us by the royal mail or  claim is made and succesfully refunded by the Royal Mail for a lost parcel.

4. Our Policy on Discounted Goods

4.1 Discounted or sale products are excluded from our general returns policy.

4.2 Clearance items reduced to half price or less are non-returnable unless faulty.

4.3 Other Sale items must be returned within 7 days for exchange or refund.

5. Ensure your returned goods are sent by recorded delivery / signed for service

5.1 We regret that we cannot be responsible for returned goods, which are lost or damaged in transit, therefore please return the goods by Royal Mail recorded delivery (UK). Overseas customers should use their own country's International Signed For service.

6. Refunds for goods paid via Paypal and Cheque

6.1 Where payment has been made through Paypal, refunds will be made through Paypal and should appear on your next credit card statement.

6.2 For payment by cheque, these will be refunded by company cheque.

7. Your rights

7.1 Please note that our policy allows for the statutory time allowed by the Distance Trading regulations as published by BERR which state that Consumers have a cooling off period in which they can withdraw from the contract for any reason. The cooling off period begins as soon as the order has been made. In the case of goods, it ends seven working days after the day of receipt of the goods.

7.2 These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
